TERMITES AND COCKROACHES - blattodea

I do not have many photographs of Blattodea since I have been on this quest to see closer what I cannot really see. Termites and Cockroaches. What have we done? Is it that I have not looked hard enough to find them or is it that we have exterminated them to the point of extinction in our midst. Why do they even exist? Why are they only considered to be “pests.” Is there no other ecological purpose for these species of Isoptera to survive? I wonder. And I will keep wondering. . .
